Eartha Kitt Catwoman Finished

Eartha!

She is finished in all her glory!
Part 1: Details on what body/heads/pattern and hair I used.
Part 2: Making the ears/mask and starting her cat.

First, let me backtrack a moment to cover a step I forgot.

I had started removing Uma’s gloves with an Xacto-blace and sand paper.

Then I thought to check if any of the other stock dolls had hands that would work.

LOL Surprise hands fit perfectly. Those are the hands she now wears.

I know Catwoman wears gloves but I didn’t want to paint her hands. There’s no good way to sew gloves for such small hands. I didn’t want Eartha in Mittens

Last time I was painting a plastic grey tabby cat.

I used Apoxie Sculpt to make her a collar with a jump ring.

Then I learned the plastic cat comes in orange. Damnit. Ah well.

Today, with embroidery thread and jewelry findings, I made her a leash.

So with new hands and a properly “Kitted out” cat I present Eartha Kitt Cat!
